Carissa Uschold-Klepfer
Carissa incorporates a holistic, body inclusive, person-centered approach to assist in increasing interoceptive awareness and mind body connection. She provides compassionate support guiding individuals to increase mindful self-compassion, and intentionally nourish and flourish. Carissa serves as the Assistant Director for Outreach Programs and Eating Disorder Treatment Team Coordinator at University at Buffalo Counseling Services. She also is a private practice Psychotherapist and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor specializing in eating and body image concerns, eating disorders and disordered eating. Trained at the Himalayan Institute of Buffalo, Carissa is a 500 hour Registered Yoga Instructor.
