Veronica Bignetti

I'm an Italian dietitian, working with Eating disorders and disordered eating. My work is part of a HAES® (Health at Every Size) paradigm / movement and I pursue these goals: -fighting fatphobia and diet culture -promoting behaviors, attitudes and beliefs for well-being without weight manipulation -spreading HAES and Intuitive Eating for Italian health care professionals. As a feminist I no longer felt comfortable in the role of a "classic" dietitian, I had to train outside Italy to acquire the knowledge and tools to give new life to my profession. I am constantly on my way to recognize my privileges for listening and passing the mic, in order to create e decolonized health care system.
