Tory is a Registered Dietitian & Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor based in Victor, Idaho. She specializes in sports nutrition, disordered eating, binge eating, and intuitive eating and takes an anti-diet approach to nutrition. She believes that all people deserve to find joy and happiness from food and movement. Tory earned her Master’s of Public Health and Dietetics through the coordinated program at Northern Arizona University, After completing her traditional schooling, she went on to gain an additional certification in Intuitive Eating. Like many athletes, Tory struggled with disordered eating, orthorexia, and poor body image as a teenager and throughout her 20s. She believed that her worth was tied to her body size and tried diet after diet chasing a smaller body. It wasn’t until she started her journey to become a dietitian that she began to understand the true damage this was causing. She started learning and implementing the concept of intuitive eating into her own life and felt a sense of freedom. Through her own experience and education, Tory understands that being “healthy” isn't about following the next fad diet or eliminating food groups. Instead, it is about choosing a sustainable nutrition strategy that brings you joy!
