I am a Registered therapeutic counsellor and certified life coach. I am also a Certified Intuitive & mindfulness counselor as well as smart recovery certified. I was born in England, and have lived in Greece and Canada as well as my now current residence, here in Southern California. My family history includes one with mental health issues and addiction. I myself have recovered from a 20 year battle with bulimia. I am passionate about helping people move away from the damages of dieting, and educating the public about their consequences, and that there is a new life waiting for them, called intuitive and mindful eating. My book ‘Fed up with diets: Discover a new beginning through Intuitive eating’ documents my full recovery from bulimia and how mastering the art of intuitive eating, our long lost instinctual right, helps us make lasting peace with food and our bodies.
