Hi, I’m Shauna, a Registered Psychotherapist specializing in supporting individuals struggling with disordered eating, compulsive exercise, body image concerns, trauma, and life transitions. My passion for mental health began while volunteering with my university's peer support network, where I felt deeply connected to helping young adults navigate their mental well-being. During that time, I turned to group fitness classes as a way to manage personal stress—one constant in the ever-evolving landscape of my early 20s. Eventually, I became a group fitness instructor, using movement as an outlet for anxiety. However, I started to recognize patterns of restriction, overexercising, and emotional eating both in myself and those around me. This journey of self-awareness and healing inspired me to pursue professional training and launch a private practice dedicated to helping others reclaim their relationship with food, body image, and overall mental health while also navigating challenges like trauma, anxiety, and major life transitions.
