I am a Nutrition Therapist and Certified Eating Disorders Registered DIetitian who has recently relocated to the Eastside Seattle area from Los Angeles. I'm also registered as a dietitian in the UK and practiced in London from 2015-2016. I have practiced dietetics and nutrition counseling for the last 14 years and have worked at multiple eating disorder facilities in the Los Angeles area, as well as one in London, in all levels of care (inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient) and contributed to the development of their nutrition programs. My primary experience and specialty is with individuals with Disordered Eating (repeated dieting, pre-occupation with food, body, and exercise, guilt associated with food and exercise, emotional eating, orthorexia, etc.) and Eating Disorders. I have also worked with individuals with Substance Abuse, Digestive Disorders (IBS & IBD), Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Diabetes, Food Intolerances & Allergies and welcome the opportunity to get to know, learn from and work with new clients. I am a big advocate of Intuitive and Mindful Eating, as approaches to a healthy relationship with one's body, mind and food. I am very passionate about my work and understand that there can be many challenges (both emotionally and physically) associated with improving wellness and achieving change. I'm also aware that opening up about one’s struggles and habits that are perceived as negative can be difficult. Discussing food, health and body is extremely personal, therefore, I work to create a warm, empathetic environment so that my clients feel comfortable to share without fear of judgment. I am currently offering telehealth (virtual sessions) rather than in person appointments at this time. I'd love to connect!
