Folie à Deux

Taken from an outdated psychiatric term meaning shared psychosis; or literally translated from French, madness between two; Folie à Deux is a holistic wellbeing practice offering 1:1 online bespoke, person centered work & practical personal services - including Intuitive Eating facilitation. Folie à Deux Founder, Freyia Lilian, is both a trained helping professional and expert by experience who chooses to reclaim this phrase and metamorphose it. She hopes the act of sharing; between herself and her clients; will do her bit to question the collective understanding of what we even mean by so called ‘madness.’ All services guide clients along their wellbeing journey from a peer support perspective, positioning them as equals, and rejecting the hierarchy of ‘expert’ and ‘patient.’ Folie à Deux provides creative wellness and personal services and is not a psychiatric or psychological practice, (although knowledge is drawn from both fields in services offered.) It is proudly positioned outside of the mental healthcare establishment.
