Amanda is a compassionate clinician and believes in meeting her clients where they are. She received her master’s in clinical social work from the University of Central Florida and is a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern. Amanda is a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor®, a Health At Every Size® (HAES) Provider, and is also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Amanda provides a holistic approach within a non-judgmental environment, helping you set realistic goals and utilize coping skills. She has extensively studied eating disorders and eating disorder treatment modalities. She has years of experience working with a wide range of clients and populations, helping those with chronic illness, depression, anxiety, trauma, loss, and disordered eating. Amanda utilizes a variety of treatment modalities including CBT, ACT, Psychodynamic Therapy, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Amanda is motivated in helping her clients reach their potential by highlighting the importance of self-care within the therapeutic process.
